The Songs from the Underground -NYC Subway

The Songs from the Underground -NYC Subway project consists of a full length compilation CD, released July 19th 2005, featuring a variety of talented, busking musicians from the deepest of underground scenes in NYC, the subway. This album aims to bring light to the vibrant scene of musicians that enlighten the dark canals of the NYC subway system.

The musicians that perform in the subways of NY are special and dear to every visitor and resident of the city They are the soundtrack for the daily lives of millions of commuters in NYC. They have the ability to momentarily transport a daily commuter from a monotonous underground activity to a place full of life and song. They are local celebrities that are making the world a better place from the root up. They are the subway musicians of NYC.
